Build Help/Ready: Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes, I have. What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Playing current gen games at [email protected]
. Want some leeway to heavily mod some not-as-new games (MGSV, Just Cause 3, Skyrim, ...)
I also multitask a lot, so being able to have some programs open (ex. Excel, Blender, Photoshop, Firefox, Vuze) as I game would be nice. If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
1080p 60hz. As for settings, being able to set everything to high/ultra would be nice. What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
$2 000, including a monitor. Also, see answer below In what country are you purchasing your parts?
Costa Rica. And because of that, keep in mind those $2000 from the answer above are more like $1500, as computer parts are more expensive where I live. Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!)

I have no intentions of overclocking anything. As of right now, at least. So I'm not sure If I really need a CPU cooler any better than the one that comes with it. Or if I should get any more fans than the ones that come with the case.
I made this build under the impression that it would allow me to game as stated above for about ~5 years. Though this being my first brand-new PC, I'm not really sure if I can expect it to last that long without something expensive breaking.
If curious/want to go the extra mile, these are probably the three best sites to buy PC parts on my country: 1 2 3
. I'm mostly limited to what parts they have available, at their prices. To convert to USD, divide sum by 575.
