Fuck it, could someone please upload a torrent of the current release?
For reasons I'm desperately trying to fix, I simply cannot download large files through any method other than torrents. It's only been an issue since I moved into my new apartment a few days ago.
They all stop at some point and then can't be started again. Even the streaming installer succumbs around halfway though. I've tried download managers like flashget, but I can't seem to even access the files with them because it requires a login and entering my info doesn't work.
Eventually I settled on using firefox's download manager to run it, pause it whenever it stops (after a few seconds) and resume it again. For the past couple days I've literally been downloading it 1 or 2 MB at a time because it requires constant attention to keep it from permanently stopping. I got about 3GB in annnnd.... it stopped starting back up when I hit resume.
I've been waiting for this update all summer and I would very much appreciate it if alternative downloads were available.

Download Manager with Multi-Mirror / Multi-Server Feature
I look for a download manager that supports Multi-Mirror / Multi-Server download, which essentially means:
You can add more than one download link to a download, and it will load parts from all mirrors. This was useful, when individual servers were slower than your internet connection.
Years ago Flash!Get and other now out-dated and malware-ridden download managers had the feature. I moved to Bangkok for work and here often fast servers are slow due to artificial slow down by providers. Our office has a 100mbit/s up and downlink, which is really 100mbit/s (i get it for many downloads but not for all). So for the slow ones, I'd like to add more mirrors to a download to combine the speeds.
Download-managers that I know of which have the feature:
- uGet (unconvenient UI and feature set)
- FlashGet (malware ridden, outdated)
- Go!Zilla (malware ridden, outdated)
Do you know any other Windows based Download managers that have the feature?
