Noob needs a hand
What's up, guys! First of all, it will be a little difficult to me, I'm from Brazil and don't have a 100% english. So, let's get back to 2018! A friend of mine had to go from another state and let to me a locked/blocked PS3 (Don't know how you guys call it in english, I mean a videogame that only play originals) and a dog. I couldnt play it because he didnt had a working controller, so a borrow one and try to unlock it (to play some pirate downloaded games), but I messed things up and get some error that I can't remember, but the PS3 was restarting while updating, some kind of loop.
Then we got 2020 a.k.a Today. Bought a controller (one with cable, sadly) and tried to install the original OS, only to play some MGS games that I will pick with a friend of mine. Download the 4.86 from PS3 site, put it on a pendrive PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.pup then put it on the PS3, things were doing great into I get a error - 8002F271.
While doing some research, a guy told that this error is cause my HDD was NTFS not FAT32. Got my 1tb drive and put him in FAT32, placed it on PS3 then tried again to update it. Again, things were doing great, into I get another error - 8002F1F9. More reseach, then people told that this error is because my bluetooth or wifi was broken.
Found a video from a brazilian guy explaining to repair it, installing a OS that don't check my bluetooth and my wifi. But that guy had to acess the Safe/Recovery mode (don't know if they are the same thing),when I tried to acess it (doing the two beeps thing) my PS3 already goes to a system update screen, getting to some % and then getting the 8002F1F9.
Some guy told that you have to remove the HDD then try to update it, but if you get the "cannot start the appropriate system storage was not found" means that your HDD is corrupted. Point is, what the fuck do I do? I would aprecciate a little help!
One more thing: If the problem is the wifi and bluetooth and is possible to install a OS that don't check both, can I find a unlocked OS that doesnt check too? Thank you!!
